John McClane: Because there's no body else to do it right now, that's why. Believe me, if there were somebody else to do it, I'd let them do it, but there's not. So we're doing it.

Franken Is In Trouble

Monday, January 6th, 2014

For those thinking there is no way Senator Al Franken can lose, here’s proof you are wrong. The Strib is already bending over backwards to mislead voters of his Progressive Agenda.

Did Al Franken really cast the ’60th vote’ for Obamacare?

He was in fact the 60th vote. The leftwing power grab of Democrats resulted in a Republican winning the special election in Massachusetts. This story is junk journalism and why we have so many empty suits and pantsuits in Washington.

We would not have Obamacare if not for Al Franken stealing the 2008 election recount.

Top Democrat Likens GOP Worthy Of Johnstown Charge

Wednesday, December 18th, 2013

When they run into something protecting Americans from their anti-American agenda – in this case the Constitution – they slander, libel, and lie about those who are protecting Americans’ rights. Obama’s new senior advisor proves Rules for Radicals is required reading for administration officials.

In a profile published late Tuesday by Politico Magazine, Podesta is quoted comparing Republicans to the infamous cult led by Jim Jones, who was responsible for the 1978 cyanide poisoning of more than 900 of his followers in Guyana.

“They need to focus on executive action given that they are facing a second term against a cult worthy of Jonestown in charge of one of the houses of Congress,” said Podesta of what Obama’s White House team faces. Jonestown was the informal name of the settlement founded by Jones and his American followers.

Call Senators Al Franken and Amy Klobuchar and urge him to demand Podesta’s immediate firing.

If Democrats really want to know why the country seems so divided, they need look no further than a mirror. This is just another example of top Democrats slandering and smearing people for simply having an opposing point of view.

Franken & Klobuchar Choose Illegal Immigrants Over Veterans

Wednesday, December 18th, 2013

The latest “Budget Deal” being debated is yet another example of kicking the can down the road. Fearful of coming to terms with the fact that eventually we will run out of other people’s money to promise to people so they will vote for them, members of Congress have compiled an accounting miracle to project their careers. Gimmicks and shifts with no real substantive reforms to deal once and for all with the bloating and rioting entitlement society Congress and bureaucrats have created for their own survival.

As is American politics is today, if you stand up and fight the honest and noble fight, as Ted Cruz did in trying to delay the predictably failed Obamacare rolled out, everyone and their mother will demonize you and call you a terrorist. Republicans have learned their lesson, as is, don’t try to do what’s right because we will blame you for our failures. The media sprints to the presses and TV camera with their latest White House talking points and the President finds the closest person who is about to faint to hold a rally in front of, and whammo! You’re the bad guy for being right.

So Republicans in Congress are “working” with Democrats in finding a “fix” for the “budget stalemate”. The argument is not over whether or not we are spending more and more money on wasteful and duplicative efforts. Its about protecting all the little kickbacks and special programs designed to draw blocks of voters based on demographic and culture to vote for Democrats. Its also to force Republicans to choose more Marxo-Progressive tax increases or cutting benefits to groups such as veterans.

The Senate Republicans were not going to take this one lying down so they tried to get a vote on an amendment to the budget deal that would have protected veterans pensions. In order to find some “spending cuts” to avoid the “sequester reductions, budget negotiators decided veterans benefits were at the top of the list for reductions. Meanwhile illegal immigrants are cashing in $4.2 billion of welfare benefits. To Democrats that’s an important voting constituency.

Senate Republicans tried to prevent such reckless and inhumane treatment of our nation’s heroes. ToDemocrats like Senators Al Franken and Amy Klobuchar, the men and women who risked their lives for this country are expendable so that taxpayers can provide welfare benefits for people who have no respect for our laws and are taking entitlements away from Americans. Why? Because they know those people will vote the right way. Sure they won’t say that, they will give you some tear jerking story of some poor innocent family of illegal immigrants who can’t put enough food on the table who’s kids can’t even get in state tuition to college, or who have to work 2 jobs under the table……

To Democrats, putting food on the table of illegal immigrants is more important than keeping a promise to our veterans.

Senate Democrats blocked a vote (aka filibustered?) the Republican amendment to require a social security number to receive welfare. This would have protected veterans benefits, but Franken and Klobuchar sided with Harry Reid in protecting non-citizens.

They are playing party politics and putting the DNC ahead of veterans on their priority scale. Shameful and disgusting.

When your stomach turns as you watch the status quo sausage being made in Washington, be careful to avoid instinctively casting a pox on both parties. While far from perfect, Republicans are in no way as deceitful and disingenuous as Democrats. Democrats will shut down the government to protect government and their own party from the cold hard fact that we are heading straight for a fiscal cliff. They will masterfully shift all blame on Republicans, and its all so they can maintain their death grip on the power and corruption that is destroying this once great nation.

The population bomb heading for Social Security and other entitlements will bankrupt this country. The Marxist drive to socialize and nationalize huge sectors of our economy is suicide because the only way to avoid serious reforms to the entitlements is an American economy breaking the sound barrier in growth and job creation. Instead Democrats are mandate by mandate crippling our economy. They are strangling growth industries with red tape, and taxing investors out of the markets. They are killing the only thing that could possibly save their socialist dream.

Everytime a person votes Democrat so they can receive more subsidies, a Democrat gets its wings. Never mind the forecasts and projections of continual spending increases and growing of entitlement programs is factually unsustainable, Democrats have their foot on the floor of the American bus as it is racing straight for a cliff of insolvency.

Fraknen On Obamacare 2012: Can we not all agree to talk about this law in a factual matter?

Wednesday, November 13th, 2013

Fraknen Hearts Obamacare March 2012 via his official webpage.

I bet this quickly disappears. Fact check this media.

I tried to download before it does, but encountered an error. Someone may want to do so before Franken’s record runs into the fact is was all a lie.

Al Franken was the only reason Democrats forced this flawed law through.

“Can we not all agree to talk about this law in a factual matter?”

Oh Al, some of us have been talking about the facts and truth of this law all along.

Klobuchar Approves Of Benghazi Coverup

Thursday, October 31st, 2013

Secretary of State Hillary Clinton washed her hands of any responsibility in the murders of 4 Americans and cover up by the Obama administration.

Don’t forget, that with in moments of the terrorist attack, the Obama administration put more into the political response then they did into a security response.

So what does Minnesota’s Senior Senator who was first elected to “ask tough questions” have to say?

Run Hillary, run!

Accountability is a 4 letter word to Democrats. Our nation is in chaos, and Democrats are looking to the next election, not solving the problems facing our nation.

Nolan: Obamacare Is Just The First Step…..

Thursday, October 24th, 2013

Democrat Congressman Rick “I hate Washington” Nolan of CD8 must be feeling the heat of being out raised by Republican Stewart Mills. He is making media waves for saying President Obama needs to fire someone for the Obamacare disaster.

The local media of course is lapping it up. But what did Nolan do to help prevent the disaster? He took out his pom poms.

On March 23rd, 2010, President Obama signed the Affordable Care Act into law, providing coverage to 129 million Americans with pre-existing conditions, allowing students to stay on their parents’ plans a little longer, saving senior citizens money by addressing the donut hole in Medicare, and guaranteeing that women pay the same as men for health insurance.

The Affordable Care Act – or “ObamaCare” – is the first step, not the last, in our nation’s quest for providing Americans with the assurance, security, and the peace of mind that accompanies quality, low-cost health care.

Enrollment for individuals and small businesses in the MNsure marketplace began October 1st.

So here’s what you need to know:

1. On October 1st, Minnesota launched MNsure, a health insurance marketplace for individuals who are uninsured or who need to find new coverage. MNsure is a one-stop shop where both individuals and small businesses can browse through health care plans to find the right coverage for themselves or for their employees.

2. You will get to choose your coverage by browsing through plans and costs side-by-side from health care providers that are now competing for your business. You can search for plans with specific features that match the health needs of both yourself and your family.

3. If you like the plan you have, you can keep it. And in fact, you’ll get a host of other built-in new consumer protections.

If this disaster is just the first step, could it be that I was right and Obamacare wasn’t designed to work, but rather destroy the insurance industry requiring a complete government takeover AKA single-payer?

MNSure’s Unreasonable Search and Seizure – I Plead The 4th

Wednesday, October 9th, 2013

There is a new trend in Government, data is collected and shared with law enforcement and the IRS. Don’t worry though, its “just in case” you break the law. Of course this runs amuck of the Constitution, but that document is completely ignored now by politicians and agents of Government.

4th Amendment: The right of the people to be secure in their persons, houses, papers, and effects, against unreasonable searches and seizures, shall not be violated, and no Warrants shall issue, but upon probable cause, supported by Oath or affirmation, and particularly describing the place to be searched, and the persons or things to be seized.

At the Federal level, the SAFE Act does a similar thing, including sending your finger prints and an FBI background check to the Department of Justice where it will be stored – just in case.

I saw a story on Drudge this morning about Maryland’s “marketplace” and how personal data is “protected” – more properly put – used to implicate you in a crime.

Maryland’s Health Connection, the state’s Obamacare marketplace, has been plagued by delays in the first days of open enrollment.  If users are able to endure long page-loading delays, they are presented with the website’s privacy policy, a ubiquitous fine-print feature on websites that often go unread. Nevertheless, users are asked to check off a box that they agree to the terms.

The policy contains many standard statements about information automatically collected regarding Internet browsers and IP addresses, temporary “cookies” used by the site, and website accessibility.  However, at least two conditions may give some users pause before proceeding.

The first is regarding personal information submitted with an application for those users who follow through on the sign up process all the way to the end.  The policy states that all information to help in applying for coverage and even for making a payment will be kept strictly confidential and only be used to carry out the function of the marketplace.  There is, however, an exception: “[W]e may share information provided in your application with the appropriate authorities for law enforcement and audit activities.”

Obamacare is a Federal law requiring ‘marketplaces’ so chances are every state will be the same….. MNSure is Mark Dayton’s version of Obamacare, I wonder what it does with data. Via MNSure’s terms and conditions page (aka what you must agree with to comply with this federal mandate. (AKA involuntary search and seizure)

With whom may we share information?

We will only share information about you as needed and as allowed or required by law. We may share your information with agencies or persons who need the information to do their jobs, such as MNsure employees, investigators and auditors, community assistance partners you are working with, law enforcement officials, other state, federal and local governmental agencies, your health care insurer, agency, managed care organization or others who pay for your care, and anyone else authorized by law to receive the information

What happened to the 4th Amendment?

I know defenders of Obama will quickly point out that most websites include similar language, but Obamacare is a mandate. Its involuntary (unless you helped elect Obama and Democrats and are owed a political favor so are granted a waver).

I guess Nancy Pelosi was right, we Congress did have to pass the bill before we could read the bill.

Just a reminder to everyone: Senator Al Franken was the deciding vote in passing Obamacare. Upon completion of his successful theft of the 2008 election recount, he became the 60th vote in the US Senate giving Democrats the ability to break a GOP filibuster on this disastrous law.

Dear Liberals, I Feel Your Pain

Tuesday, October 8th, 2013

This is how conservatives felt late 2005 and into 2006.

When even your side sees the ponzi scheme known as Obamacare and the influence of special interests over your policies, you’re failing.

As the Obama admin unravels, hopefully the masses of people dragged to the polls to elect this boob will realize there is no free lunch, that socialism sucks, and make a wise choice come 2014.

#makeDClisten No Training Included In Daytoncare – Killing Obamacare Is The Only Way To Protect Americans

Tuesday, September 24th, 2013

What happens when a single party is allowed to exercise its ideology with out criticism, examination, or media scrutiny? Its called Obamacare and its crazy uncle Daytoncare (MNSure).

On October 1st, every Minnesotan will be required to participate in the Minnesota Health Insurance Exchange that was mandated by Obamacare. What is the exchange and how will it affect the millions of existing contracts Minnesotans have with insurance providers is unclear just a week out from the launch.

What should really scare all Minnesotans is this from the Pioneer Press:

A week before the launch of Minnesota’s health exchange, no insurance agents, county workers or “navigators” have been fully trained and certified to help consumers enroll in coverage through the new system, state officials told legislators Tuesday.

In a week 6 million Minnesotans need to know just what the law passed thanks to Al Franken’s stolen election means to them and their family. Hundreds of thousands of employers have to know what this means to their business. Thousands of state and county employees are being forced to impliment the Federal mandate, yet none of them have even received information or training as to explain what Minnesotans can expect.

A lot of Republican strategists are scared of taking a bold stand and “risking” a shutdown over defunding Obamacare, but the fact is no one knows what Obamacare really is. Heck, Nancy Pelosi said the only way to know what was in the bill was to pass it. Three years later, even the bureaucrats tasked with carrying out the Federal mandate don’t know what was in the bill.

Well the law is supposed to be enacted in a week and no one knows what the law really does or what it means. No one has yet been trained to explain to Americans what it means to American families.

Not stopping Obamacare’s unknown affects on Americans’ health care is immoral, unAmerican, and unDemocratic.

Repeal the provision in Obamacare that allows for the Obama appointed Secretary of Health & Human Services to grant a waiver to groups or businesses and force mandate every single state, federal, county, and municipal employee to participate in the same laws that other Americans will be forced to.

If Obamacare is so dang good, then every single American should be mandated to participate. No one should be excluded. No one should be granted a waiver. And no one should be forced to participate in a government policy that no one has been trained to even explain to citizens.

Common sense says this was a mistake. Logic says this is insanity and political marksmanship and overreach. Honesty says this was the mother of all political mistakes ever made in Washington and something that at the very least needs more time to be examined and tested.

To allow Obamacare to be implemented at this point, with no proof of readiness, benefits, or affordability is grounds for recall, impeachment, and a psych eval for anyone unwilling to be honest and admit that its one of the biggest hoaxes ever perpetrated on the American people.

Daytoncare Has Its 1st Major Security Failure

Friday, September 13th, 2013

Obamacare will go down in history as the worst piece of legislation ever. It was due to the ability of President Obama and Congressional Democrats to railroad the law through Congress with their 60th vote Al Franken that there was never any scrutiny, debate, or vetting of the practicality of the law. The same Government that can’t figure out how to maintain a transportation network, or realize the usefulness of the post office is somehow going to ‘fix” health insurance?

Well, in Minnesota progressives purchased similar majorities and the Governor’s office in 2012 and they not only agreed to rush a Minnesota exchange into place, they raised the bar on mandates and government intervention. That’s why I call the MNSure (Obamacare mandates state run exchange as opposed to Federal takeover) = Daytoncare.

He demanded it. He rushed it into place. He could have bothered reading this bill and realized that it was ripe with problems and shortcomings. But he doesn’t seem to read a lot of the bills he signs into law, so Minnesota citizens are now subject to human error that could expose their financial and private information to identity theft.

Republicans have warned about the chance for this, and here in Minnesota, we have our first case.

An employee for the state’s new online health insurance exchange accidentally released confidential information on hundreds of insurance agents.

According to the Star Tribune, MNsure officials say the employee sent an email to an Apple Valley insurance broker’s office Thursday that contained Social Security numbers, addresses and other private information of more than 2,400 insurance agents.

An MNsure security manager called the insurance broker, Jim Koester, and had him delete the file from his computer hard drive. Koester tells the Star Tribune the incident raises questions about the security of MNsure client information.

Users of the exchange will need to provide confidential information to a federal hub where eligibility for public health programs or tax credits will be reviewed.

You hear ever week about how some government or financial network is breached and private data is stolen. We also have the news this week in Minnesota that other state databases are being abused and private information of Minnesotans is being misused by state workers.

Everything that an identity thief needs to destroy someone’s life is neatly packaged in a single database that was raced into operation with out any predecessors to at least improve upon. October 1st is the deadline for insurance companies to inform their existing customers about changes to their existing plans and the new rates. But here we are, 2 weeks from that deadline, and it seems that most insurance companies still don’t really know how the new health care mandates are really going to affect their operations.

If a private company was doing something like Daytoncare to their members or customers, Attorney General Lori Swanson would be slapping lawsuits on them and the local media would have choppers hovering over the Capital.
