As most of you probably know, the current MNGOP Secretary Chris Fields has been running for the vacant Deputy Chair position. He announced this week that he is resigning on May 30th regardless of whether he wins or not, creating a vacancy in the Secretary spot allowing activists to elect his replacement at the State Central Meeting in Rochester.
I am proud to inform you that my friend, fellow grassroots activist, and CD6 Deputy Chair Heather Todd is seeking the Secretary position.
Elect Heather Todd for MNGOP Secretary at State Central Committee Meeting on Thursday, May 29th in Rochester.
As 20 year resident of Blaine, MN, I have been involved as an activist since 2004 and interested in politics most of my adult life. I am currently the Deputy Chair of CD6 and have had the privilege to help with numerous local and congressional campaigns in recent years. I’m looking forward to the opportunity to join the Executive Team of the MNGOP to continue building the foundation necessary to get great conservative candidates elected to serve us in Washington, St Paul and locally.
The role of the MNGOP Secretary is to effectively communicate MNGOP business at the state level to you the activist, in whatever capacity you serve: To insure that you receive transparent and timely information that will help you be effective in the communities where you serve to affect change. I commit to do just this when you elect me to be the next MNGOP Secretary.
