Jack Rogers announced that he IS NOT going to run for State Party Chair at Thursday Night N Tea Party meeting.
Keith Downey would be an excellent choice for heading the Minnesota GOP state party. I know him personally, voted for him , and have followed him in his legislative career( which I might say was way, way too short). He is innovative and has new ideas which his legislative career reflects. I believe he has the talent to provide the leadership necessary to get the 18 to 88+ year old party people back to being proud to be a Republican. He has the skills necessary to give Republican principles a meaning and direction which the electorate so sorely needs and would be open to subscribing to them with their votes. A good and well lead party must provide good candidates. Once you get to meet him, you will see why I fully and heartily support him in this endeavor as well as you might.
