$36.50 for a 3 Musketeers – Will The Real Jim Graves Step Forward
Jim Graves, DFL & Independence Party candidate for the 6th Congressional District has had to scrub his resume of some quite flattering things because they weren’t actually true. Of course this was only after his campaign manager attacked anyone who tried to point out the misleading items in his resume.
RF Flashback Jim Graves May Be The Perfect Washington Candidate
One of the things that was questioned about his resume was that he served on the board of the United Way.
I’m reminded of a Seinfeld character. Elaine’s boss J Peterman bought Kramer’s life story to spice up his book.
St. Paul –With no voting record to run on, Jim Graves’ business record deserves serious scrutiny. Last week, in response to a press release by the Republican Party of Minnesota regarding Jim Graves’ business practices and professional biography,Graves’ son, Adam said these ‘wild accusations’ were ‘hardly worthy of a response,’ but this week, Graves is updating his biography.
Republican Party of Minnesota Chairman Pat Shortridge issued the following statement demanding answers from the Graves’ campaign regarding these serious concerns:
“Last week, these were ‘wild accusations,’ but this week, Jim Graves is updating his biography. We have to wonder what historical revisions are still to come.
“In just days, Graves was forced to remove a claim from his biography that he was a United Way Central Minnesota board member.
“When there are a litany of questions about a candidate for public office and how they’ve run their business, voters deserve answers. If Jim Graves has run his business differently than public records show, including a failure to honor agreements with subcontractors and hotels, forcing the unionization of his employees, and being delinquent on many of his businesses, then please, set the record straight.
“These are not ‘wild accusations,’ these are serious concerns. If Jim Graves will run his businesses like this, what will he do if elected to Congress? We have enough people in DC already who are willing to cut corners and who don’t think the rules apply to them.”
