Sorry. “There are always suggestions” should say “There are always exceptions”. Later in my comment I meant to say, “But we can establish all sorts of laws that we espouse, but it is another thing to get the public, the Governor, and the Dems to agree with us.”

Jim B, I understand your points completely and statements made about any group should not be all-inclusive. There are always suggestions. I stand corrected. With regard to your second post, the public votes for their representation. If the public doesn’t want the stadium (as I don’t), then we can vote for reps and senators who won’t support that use of taxpayer money. But we can establish all sorts of laws that we espouse, but it is another thing to get the pubic, the Governor, and the Dems to agree with us. We can’t pass “perfect” unless we have a majority in both houses and the Governor’s office AND all factors are like-minded politically. Sadly, “perfect” can’t happen but every once in a great while. We strive for it, but …

…by the way, the MN GOP as a whole is exactly the problem we need to address. The MN GOP as a whole is far too complacent and accepting of compromise. That is the reason we get such weak legislative leadership and things such as a Vikings stadium, no support for Right to work, etc.

Typical, false, ridiculous, “they’re all the same”, accusations against “liberty” supporters. My wife and I organized the Anoka County Fair and we did have as many liberty as non-liberty type Republicans work in the booth. It is easily as fair to say the the non-liberty Republicans are sitting on the sidelines, doing nothing for Kurt Bills and just drooling at the thought of wagging their passive-aggressive fingers and attitudes while saying “I told you so”. I’m a Ron Paul and liberty supporter and I, along with many other liberty supporters have pounded signs, marched in more than several parades, started a blog supporting non-liberty conservatives, and donated generously to a variety of campaigns.

Bill is just like his hero Ron Paul.
Great at getting crazies to show up for a few hours to ruin a party.
Poison at the poll.

My guess is that he will probably get the same results in the general election (not % of votes, the same exact number of votes.)

In stead of figuring out how to get more work out of the dead horse, just leave it and move on.

This year was one of the few conventions when I didn’t want to hear the other candidates pledge to abide by the party’s endorsement. We’ve got to work at getting people to caucus & active in their BPOU who are more representative of the Minnesota GOP as a whole.
