"John McClane: You know what you get for being a hero? Nothin'. You get shot at. You get a little pat on the back, blah, blah, blah, attaboy. You get divorced. Your wife can't remember your last name. Your kids don't want to talk to you. You get to eat a lot of meals by yourself. Trust me, kid, nobody wants to be that guy.
Matt Farrell: Then why you doing this?
John McClane: Because there's no body else to do it right now, that's why. Believe me, if there were somebody else to do it, I'd let them do it, but there's not. So we're doing it.
Matt Farrell: Ah. That's what makes you that guy. "

Words To Live By
"The era of small government is over ... government has to be more proactive, more aggressive." ( Tim Pawlenty 2006)

"You're just petty politicians, who'd sooner sign onto the wisdom of a tyrant in another country, than the demands of ticked off voters in your own." (Neil Cavuto June 2008)

“I didn’t question her patriotism. I questioned her judgment.” Mr. Cheney went on: “The point I made and I’ll make it again is that Al Qaeda functions on the basis that they think they can break our will. That’s their fundamental underlying strategy, that if they can kill enough Americans or cause enough havoc, create enough chaos in Iraq, then we’ll quit and go home. And my statement was that if we adopt the Pelosi policy, that then we will validate the strategy of Al Qaeda. I said it, and I meant it.” (Vice President Cheney NYT Feb. 2007)

"A political party cannot be all things to all people. It must represent certain fundamental beliefs which must not be compromised to political expediency, or simply to swell its numbers. (Ronald Reagan March 1, 1975)

"Oh, no! First of all, if I took one vote away from a serious candidate, it would be a sin." (Al Franken Time Magazine, 9/1/03)

What Obama’s Bain Attack Tells Us About Barrack

<begin rant> (That means this is a rough draft screed folks. Buckle your chinstraps.)

President Obama seems to be willing to make Romney’s involvement in Bain Capital his Alamo. He’s doubled and tripled down on the attacks and refuses to back off when even Democrats say he is lying. But Obama’s desire to go there on this particular issue may end up being his most transparent act as President of the United States.

The attack is based on how Bain got some companies to outsource jobs. That’s right, we’re back to the old adage, if you can’t match the prices of India & China, demonize anyone who does business with them (except Treasury Secretaries of course)

The fact is we now live in a United States that cares more about bragging rights at Davos vs. listening to how red tape, mandates, and regulations are driving jobs off shore. Marxists, and oh yes, Obama is proving he is a full blown Marxist in this attack, believe that company must do what is good for society, that profits are evil, and that there should be a chicken in every pot.

Think about it, Obama is demonizing Romney for having headed up a company that helped advise companies on how to keep the lights on and stay out of bankruptcy. Obama’s attack isn’t as much an attack on his campaign opponent Mitt Romney as it is on the fundamental building block of America: Capitalism.

You see, in Obama’s eyes’ if it moves, tax it, if it keeps moving regulate it, when it stops moving, regulate it. And when all that collapses the economy, you bailout those companies as long as they promise to help install your liberal policies……

I think back to my post where (before Limbaugh said it) I said I hope Obama fails.

If Obama had been appointed to Bain instead of Romney being there, those companies would have been forced to keep operations in America and running in the red. Stockholders would have lost and the companies would have gone under. There’s a critical component to Marxism or Communism to work, you need companies to play along.

You see if you get companies to remove choice, as in, its impossible to buy a cheap truck that has lots of power, you lower the number of people who can readily afford travel trailers and big boats and just driving big trucks cause they need them from time to time. You get car companies to stop making kick ass SUVs that while not super popular, were in demand.

You make it so that companies can’t make lawnmowers like they used to that were cheap and could run on hills like the old 2 strokes could. You make people use ethanol despite it being destructive to existing cars, boats, and equipment.

You see a critical component to the media coverup of this Marxist revolution is that this crap started under Bush. I don’t think entirely on his own, please don’t forget a critical thing. In 2006 Democrats took the House and Senate. Before they were handed gavels, the economy had not crashed. But they doubled down on their assault on free markets, then took the White House in 2008 and the schtuff hit the fan.

The recession began in 2007. In 2012, most people don’t believe there has been a real recovery. Sure on paper some say there has been, but when the numbers on that paper are manipulated by the people who need them to be good, can you trust them? Revised upward…..

Obama hates what makes America great. He does. He wants us to be like Europe, where there is a committee of bureaucrats controlling everything, where they have 60 year mortgages because you are what you were born into unless you were lucky.

Its sad that this lying son of a ….. That the President of the United States is using more force, energy, and passion to destroy and derail the prospects of large swaths of his own country, than he is those creating havoc and mayhem and violence across the globe. He’s more concerned with who has guns in the United States, than he is who is using them against American Border agents, troops, or our allies across the world.

Does Obama hate America? He clearly hates the corner stone of it in Capitalism. He clearly believes what yours is his and what’s his is his. That for the greater good some companies just have to suffer. That some people will just have to see the fruits of their labor confiscated and transferred to others with out mare it or warrant.

If Obama doesn’t hate America, he has one hell of a way proving that he does.
