"John McClane: You know what you get for being a hero? Nothin'. You get shot at. You get a little pat on the back, blah, blah, blah, attaboy. You get divorced. Your wife can't remember your last name. Your kids don't want to talk to you. You get to eat a lot of meals by yourself. Trust me, kid, nobody wants to be that guy.
Matt Farrell: Then why you doing this?
John McClane: Because there's no body else to do it right now, that's why. Believe me, if there were somebody else to do it, I'd let them do it, but there's not. So we're doing it.
Matt Farrell: Ah. That's what makes you that guy. "

Words To Live By
"The era of small government is over ... government has to be more proactive, more aggressive." ( Tim Pawlenty 2006)

"You're just petty politicians, who'd sooner sign onto the wisdom of a tyrant in another country, than the demands of ticked off voters in your own." (Neil Cavuto June 2008)

“I didn’t question her patriotism. I questioned her judgment.” Mr. Cheney went on: “The point I made and I’ll make it again is that Al Qaeda functions on the basis that they think they can break our will. That’s their fundamental underlying strategy, that if they can kill enough Americans or cause enough havoc, create enough chaos in Iraq, then we’ll quit and go home. And my statement was that if we adopt the Pelosi policy, that then we will validate the strategy of Al Qaeda. I said it, and I meant it.” (Vice President Cheney NYT Feb. 2007)

"A political party cannot be all things to all people. It must represent certain fundamental beliefs which must not be compromised to political expediency, or simply to swell its numbers. (Ronald Reagan March 1, 1975)

"Oh, no! First of all, if I took one vote away from a serious candidate, it would be a sin." (Al Franken Time Magazine, 9/1/03)

From The INBOX: Hegseth: Campaign for Sanity

Yep, this is exactly what some of us are afraid of….. (Via Pete Hegseth)

Dear Andy,If you recall, I recently sent an impassioned email stating my support of Israel as a critical strategic partner of America.  Unedited, here are some responses I received due to that simple email supporting Israel.

-  You should print this email out and choke on it, Israel is a complete marxist country created by the UN and they have been funding Al Qaeda for decades you and your war hungry bull crap is disgusting!

-  Iran does not seek a nuclear weapon, and even high level officials in Israel admit Iran does not pose an existential threat to Israel.

-  Thanks for being honest. Unfortunately, I will NOT vote for anyone who blatantly stands by a terrorist country like Israel. The US is funding this terrorist country and I will do anything to stop it, including NOT voting for people who support them.

-  I  am a Christian who has no blinders and am not swayed by the endless sob stories of the Holocaust !

I’m not afraid of some anonymous fruit loops who send email threats. I’ve faced down terrorists in Baghdad and Kabul during my three tours with the U.S. Army for goodness sake.

Let’s get serious.  Some of these people will show up at the Minnesota GOP convention on May 18th where they will help decide the Republican candidate for U.S Senate.  It’s very clear that they do not want to see me elected to the U.S. Senate and I need your help to stop them.

They attacked me because I said that I stand with Israel. Unfortunately, not all of the candidates for the Republican endorsement for U.S. Senate share this view.  In two recent debates, Kurt Bills tried to dodge the question of whether or not he would stand with Israel as a U.S. Senator.  When pressed, he said he would cut off all aid to this important ally.  To see the video, click here.

Andy, we cannot afford to lose this election to a candidate who wants to cut off all aid to our most important ally in the Middle East.

Support our campaign for sanity today.

Sincerely,

Pete Hegseth

This is who I’m expected to suck it up and pound lawn signs with should Kurt Bills win. Hence my strong support for Hegseth.
