How Did Norm Coleman Lose By Just 300 Votes In 2008?
Listen to last night’s Late Debate and Corey Sax displays the mindset perfectly.
I’ll have more later today or this weekend. It was a truly enlightening display of how the “liberty” folks entering the Republican Party don’t want that anchor around their voting hand of, you know, having to, dare I say it, vote for Republicans.
In the interview he said Tom Emmer wasn’t good enough for him…..
I’ll edit this clip out and pst later…. Truly priceless.

Today, our “freedom loving” Republican Representatives in MN just voted for CISPA after several horrendous last minute amendments and a rushed vote to avoid both negative press and responses by constituents.
AYE: Bachmann, Paulsen, Kline, Cravaack.

Votes like this on Patriot Act, NDAA, HR347, TARP are why liberty minded people stop voting Republican. Guess what? Being pro-life and hetrosexual marriage isn’t enough.
So, Jim, your alternatives are: Vote Democrat and hope they aren’t as liberal as they really are; Vote third or fourth or fifth party candidate, and hope they win; Vote Republican and hope they vote better than the Democrats; start your own party and only allow people as pure as you are to join; take over the Republican Party of MN and destroy it due to your lack of knowledge and purity requirements. It looks like no matter what you choose, you lose.
I’ve held my nose to vote for some stinkers like Arne Carlson but there is a line nonetheless. The question is, where is that line? I drew at short of Tim Pawlenty in 2006, not seeing any girding principle whatsoever – over and over. I also turned my back on a very arrogant Rudy Boschwitz in 1990 who repeatedly told us to shut up and go away, he knew better. But Mitt Romney is nowhere close to that standard; in fact, I think Norm Coleman would be worse but I’d vote for him too.
But to say Tom Emmer isn’t good enough admits this whole Ron Paul thing is just a cult. Too lazy to build their own brand (oh wait, they’ve tried!) they want to commandeer everyone else’s hard work while contributing next to none themselves.
