DFL Votes Present On ‘Dayton Lockout’
Its astonishing to hear that Democrats in the Legislature as well as the Dayton administration, actually took state resources to produce items such as Redistricting plans/maps, but didn’t actually produce them. Instead they have, at every turn, tried to derail the Republicans.
Its a sad state of affairs when an entire political party turns its entire focus into simply obstructing any progress. What’s worse is that when they plan a painful state government shutdown simply to win the next election.
When you have one side in negotiations entirely focused on the next election, its hard to actually reach compromise. And its fairly safe to say, one side isn’t compromising when they are making decisions and “offers” they know won’t work, just because they want the shutdown to continue to hurt the party in power.
You keep seeing the tear jerking examples of people who are affected in the media. State employees are ramping up their protests, hey, the union hasn’t gotten the lockout notice from Dayton and I’m confident that Dayton is a marionette of them.
Folks, the DFL and their minions aren’t interested in discovering that most Minnesotans don’t notice the Dayton lockout. This isn’t a Government shutdown due to irreconcilable differences, this is Mark Dayton and Democrats blowing up the entire process for political pain and gain.
Mark Dayton ordered the Capital shuttered. The grass is going uncut, the parking lots are barricaded, and the list of unexplainable services or products of Government just sitting there with red tape on them is endless. All because Mark Dayton wanted you to actually notice.
Well, I may be making my own trip to the Capital Saturday to show how life can go on while Mark Dayton tries to burn down Minnesota, if needed. It has something to do with me, a citizen, trying to take care of the property of the taxpayers since the CEO of the state has ordered it to lay in waste.
Irresponsible doesn’t even begin to explain Dayton’s lockout.
Shame on you Mark Dayton and Democrats.
Stay tuned for details.

More power to you, brother! And when you are done there, how about clearing some of those barriers blocking off the rest areas, so motorists can rest rather than endangering themselves and others? I mean, talk about unnecessary pain; Dayton could have left those rest areas open but unattended, just as a place to pull off and nap, but he actually PAID somebody to put up those barriers! Foolish doesn’t begin to describe him.
I love the term “Lockout” which I believe I first heard a caller use on Davis/Emmer. Much more accurate than shutdown or stalemate, puts entire focus on the only man with the key. Maybe GOP should use it officially.
