Pawlenty Should Be Quarantined, Remain Only 2 Termer
Pawlenty has a great solution for America: Let Obama (the socialist who doesn’t hide it and loves to be called Progressive which is just the new term for Communist) do what ever he wants.Â
The GOP governor urged his fellow Republicans to give Mr. Obama the space he needs after he becomes president to carry out his programs, particularly in trying to fix the economy.
“We need to give him a lot of latitude,” Mr. Pawlenty said. “He wants to be forward-looking, forward-leaning, and we should give him some space in that regard.”
Mr. Pawlenty has clearly lost all sight and connection with the grassroots of the very party he wants to lead. (Huh, that’s funny, McCain was pretty much the same.)
He has made one too many trips to DC and is now infected with the same crap that has killed the GOP there. We need to quarantine him when he comes back to Minnesota so he doesn’t infect any other Republicans here with the ‘lay down and let the Democrats walk all over us’ bug that is so prevalent in high profile Republicans nowadays.Â
I think it is time to start a push for someone to take Pawlenty out in the endorsement in 2010. This lay day and die conservative attitude is just not going to cut it anymore. We need a leader, not someone afraid to be bold and step on a few toes.Â
Let the record be clear, the nicer Republicans have tried to be, the more they lose in elections, and what’s worse, the more liberal the country has gotten. 3rd term for Timmy? I’m not in support of that with this attitude.Â
By gosh, for a guy who wants to be the Republican who runs against Obama in 2012, he’s off to a terrible start for trying to oppose him and offer a different vision for America. Pawlenty is already trying to throw the 2012 repeat McCain ’08 strategy already. What’s next he takes a conservative firebrand and starts to lash out at them?
Pawlenty will have plenty of window licking lemmings who will lap this pandering crap right up, but that doesn’t mean it is a smart political move. The most liberal man ever to take the oaf (snicker) is preparing to wage war on our free markets, and Pawlenty says to give him enough room to accomplish it.

I know, no 3rd term for Pawlenty. It would be much better for conservatives if Dayton were governor. Or really any DFLer. *rolls eyes*
Yes, that’s the ticket! One more highly electable and effective conservative candidate says one thing you don’t like, and he has to be thrown under the bus for some brand-new, as-yet-unidentified candidate with who knows how many undiscovered faults who, even if they magically manage to get elected, get tossed under the same bus the moment one statement crosses the MAAAginot line of conservative thought.
Of course, there is another way to look at this, politically. Suppose Pawlenty and, more particularly, Congressional Republicans get together and try to, or even successfully block Obama’s program. Then, when the economy goes down, Republicans can get all the blame. If on the other hand the economy improves, which is the only other possibility, Democrats get all the credit for “trying” to do something, whether they did something or not. So tell me, where’s the political upside for Republicans doing what you demand of Pawlenty?
Hey look everyone, lemmings!
